Dr.Hussein Al.Shahristani met with a delegation  from the American Ivanhoe Energy Company.

       His Excellency Dr.Hussein Al.Shahristani the minister of oil of Iraq met with a delegation from the American Ivanhoe energy company and during the meeting His Excellency welcomed the company and reviewed about the oil industry in Iraq and what was developed in the sector of oil refining and industry. At the same time the delegation of the American company was eager to work in Iraq in rehabilitating the oil wells and qualify the production and reduce the oil impurities.

          During the meeting there was a discussion about the modern technology in the field of the oil industry, at the same time there was a discussion about establishing a new unit to qualify the crude oil of the Kayiara oil field to make use of it in the refinance and exportation.
